SEO guaranteed is a claim sometimes seen with SEO companies in their promotional material. What does it mean? Well, if you are going to use an SEO company, then of course you will expect to have SEO – search engine optimisation – as the main part of the deal. That’s what it’s all about, after all. Would you go to an SEO company and accept the risk of perhaps not actually receiving any search engine optimisation on your web pages? SEO guaranteed becomes a bit meaningless taken to that extreme.
SEO, guaranteed or not, has taken on a cloak of mystery in some people’s eyes. Some unscrupulous companies use the term to confuse the unwary and make it seem like something that only a highly trained and experienced expert can do. That is nonsense! Anyone with a minimum of fuss can do their own SEO, though to be fair a real expert will do it better. So, if you are serious about SEO, either learn it yourself or find a real expert, one that doesn’t claim something essentially meaningless like, “SEO guaranteed!”
In fact, any SEO company who guarantees just about anything is not thinking the process through properly. When you are dealing with the major search engines there can be few guarantees. This is simply so because no SEO company controls the search engines, and what you do not control you cannot in reality make guarantees about.
That’s not 100% accurate, of course. Using long-tail keyword phrases, for example, with low competition strength, it’s easy to rank highly in the search engines in a very fast timescale. You still cannot guarantee this will happen, but it can be made to happen with very dependable regularity, which is as good as it gets with SEO. Guaranteed in effect if not in reality, in other words.
Be careful when you see claims of guarantee. It’s a powerful statement, but unfortunately a meaningless one in some cases. The more unscrupulous companies may guarantee to get your web site to number one in Google. They will too, but for some obscure phrase that no one searches for. A guarantee can mean different things to different people.
The best companies to help you with your web site are those who use SEO guaranteed to help your web pages perform better. That’s fairly easy to achieve, given that most web pages are in pretty bad shape in most cases if it’s a makeover that’s required. If the company is creating the pages from scratch it becomes even easier to achieve.
